If you’re a fan of luxurious and comfortable hotels, homestay is sure not our suggestion. But in Ninh Binh, you can also find good hotels – Ninh Binh Legend 4* and Emeralda Resort 5*. In Mai Chau, Mai Chau Lodge is a good option for you. Homestay is only choice in Pu Luong. It’s stilt house. Each person will be provided a mattress and a blanket. There is no privacy. Bathroom is outside/behind the house without hot water. Actually homestay provides basic facilities and more suitable for young/adventure people. Food, from our experience, is always good. It’s local food cooked by your host.
